We are currently looking for an eager Learning Designer to join our team with strong opportunities for career development.What You Will DoMap technical course material (facilitator guides, slide decks and exercise materials) and apply instructional design principles to produce cohesive and effective courses (web‑based and instructor‑led training) with measurable outcomes on technical audit and accounting topics, using rapid development tools.Manage the development of courses, ensuring timelines are met and resources are appropriately utilized.Develop and maintain training related forms, job aids and materials.Engage with clients and Subject Matter Experts and other stakeholders to ensure content and delivery align with business goals and learner needs.Test effectiveness of courses on the learning management system and document findings.Maintain project documentation and course folders.Serve as a technical resource for programs that are internally developed and presented.What You Bring To The RolePost‑secondary degree/diploma or equivalent experience in instructional design and adult learning.5+ years proven working experience as an instructional designer for web‑based and instructor‑led training.3+ years project management experience.Intermediate to advanced skills in MS Word and MS PowerPoint.Experience working with learning management systems.2+ years’ experience with Articulate 360 (Rise & Storyline).Excellent written communication skills with an ability to write effective instructional text.Self‑starter, flexible, and able to work independently.Excellent attention to detail.Ability to multi‑task and change priorities constantly in a fast‑paced environment.Intellectual curiosity, analytical acumen, strong problem‑solving and critical thinking skills.Adept at relationship building and open to feedback.Programming knowledge is an asset.Familiarity with other eLearning technology and authoring tools such as Captivate or Camtasia is an asset.Audio/video editing skills are an asset.KPMG BC Region Pay Range InformationThe expected base salary range for this position is $73,000 to $109,500 and may be eligible for bonus awards. The determination of an applicant’s base salary within this range is based on the individual’s location, skills & competencies, and unique qualifications.
