The Technical Projects Management Associate Director in the Global Supply Chain organization leads a team accountable for managing supplier requests for work transfers, manufacturing process & design changes, and electronics & material obsolescence. You will work directly with Engineering, Metrology, Quality, Suppliers, Partners, OEMs and other key stakeholders to drive commodity deliverables. You will also contribute to developing the mid‑ and long‑term strategy for the Externals, Controls, Distributed Hardware and Tubes commodity to ensure we meet our growing customer demand. The position is based at our Longueuil location, from Monday to Friday daytime and exclusively on‑site. What will your day‑to‑day look like? Lead and mobilize the engineering project‑management team to meet quality / cost / schedule targets across a multi‑product, multi‑supplier portfolio. Provide strategic technical direction and oversight for engine externals / controls, distributed hardware, and tubing across the global supply chain. Chair the electronic obsolescence governance board and proactively prevent shortages using established processes and tools. Deliver engineering expertise and supply‑chain support to secure delivery and quality, with project leadership and escalation mechanisms to meet timelines and budgets. Maintain exemplary working relationships with all engineering groups (manufacturing, design, modules, projects, programs) and Transport Canada delegates to enable smooth execution and effective problem solving. Align with engineering program managers and module directors on scope and priorities, and resolve technical, logistical, and administrative issues. Promote a culture of HSE and quality excellence, foster knowledge management and continuous improvement, and lead transformation / process‑optimization projects from design through implementation. Build the 1–5 year budget, and manage budget allocations and reporting for the engineering support organization. What do you need to be successful? Bachelor’s degree in engineering with at least 10 years of experience, or Master’s degree in engineering with at least 7 years of experience in engineering, operations or project management. Inspiring leader, capable of mobilizing, engaging, and developing talent within teams. Sharp business acumen with proven ability to optimize operational performance while ensuring customer satisfaction and employee engagement & empowerment. Demonstrated influential leadership and initiative. Knowledge of supplier operations (manufacturing, quality, engineering) and an understanding of the strategic and business aspect of supply chain projects. Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to work effectively with people of different backgrounds and communication styles. Strong verbal and written communication skills, comfortable presenting in front of a group (including senior leadership). Knowledge of Project Management processes and tools (PMP certification is an asset). Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
