The Senior Pega Developer is a mid-level position responsible for establishing and implementing new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to lead application systems analysis and programming activities.Key ResponsibilitiesContribute to complex design projects and has expert Pega7 / Pega8 / Pega24 knowledge based on in-depth experience and history of successful projects on Customer Service ApplicationsManage technical implementation tasks to ensure work is delivered on‑time and on-budgetUse Pega7 / Pega8 / Pega24 architecture, security model, and service interfaces to build effective software solutionAbility to translate complex business requirement into functional technical requirement using requirement gathering sessions and available industry standard toolsEnsures that systems are built for change, are reusable, and are maintainableDevelopment support and design consultation for development activitiesEffectively troubleshoot technical issues as they arise during the project life cyclePerformance monitoring, tuning and optimizationInteraction with the Production Support and Development Teams (Citi and Vendor) to deliver end‑user support, defect resolution, etc. To include emergency off‑hours supportInteraction with partner development, testing, and support teams to deliver end‑to‑end solutionsKnowledge and CompetenciesMore than 10 years of experience with Pega7 / Pega8 / Pega24 versionsWorking knowledge on Pega ChatExposure to Constellation UI migrationDomain knowledge of banking is preferableSQL, HTML, and JavaScript experience a plusRDBMS and Web technologies experiencePerformance monitoring and tuning experienceQualificationsCSSA or Certified Senior System Architect certification and / or PEGA LSA (Lead System Architect) certificationKnowledge on Pega Smart Investigate / Customer Service / Dispute frameworks6-10 years of relevant experience in Apps Development or systems analysis role, related to PegaExtensive experience system analysis and in programming of software applicationsExperience in managing and implementing successful projectsSubject Matter Expert (SME) in at least one area of Applications DevelopmentAbility to adjust priorities quickly as circumstances dictateDemonstrated leadership and project management skillsConsistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communicationEducationBachelor of Engineering / Master of Engineering / Master of Computer ApplicationsJob Family GroupTechnologyJob FamilyApplications DevelopmentTime TypeFull timePrimary Location Full Time Salary Range$120, - $170, #J-18808-Ljbffr
