The incumbent should be an adept communicator with the ability to confidently respond to and resolve broker inquiries and someone who can make operational decisions with autonomy within your level of authority.Qualifications & Skills RequiredWorking toward or willingness to obtain CIPGeneral Insurance License: preference will be given to those with a Level 2 licenseFluency in both English and French (spoken and written) is requiredMinimum of 2–4 years of personal lines underwritingKnowledge, Skills and Abilities RequiredAbility to select, underwrite and manage specialized personal linesExcellent awareness and understanding of the marketplaceSound knowledge of broker/insurance company relationships and the ability to apply this to the underwriting of an accountStrong computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office applicationsCompensationVary based on qualifications of applicant.About PremierFounded in 1989, Premier is headquartered in Vancouver, with 5 additional offices located across Canada — Toronto, London, Cambridge, Laval, and Calgary.
