OverviewData Conversion Specialist - Senior — Location: Toronto, ON M7A 0B6 (Hybrid – 3 days Onsite). Duration: 144 days with possibility of extension.Must Haves3+ years of experience in data migration, conversion, or ETL processes.Hands-on experience with AWS Connect, Databricks or other data platform, and data transformation techniques.Data Transformation Tools: Expertise in ETL tools and data engineering processes.Programming Languages: Proficiency in Python and SQL; experience with Scala is a plus.AWS Services: working knowledge of AWS Connect, Amazon S3, AWS Lambda, and AWS Glue.ResponsibilitiesOversee all the facilities of the conversion process.Completes mapping, interfaces, mock conversion work, enhancements, actual conversion, and verifies completeness and accuracy of converted data.Establish a strong working relationship with all clients, interact effectively with all levels of client personnel, and provide conversion support.Analyzes and coordinates data file conversions.Works with importing files from heterogeneous platforms.Ideal Candidate3+ years of experience in data migration, conversion, or ETL processes.Hands-on experience with AWS Connect, Databricks or other data platform, and data transformation techniques.Data Transformation Tools: Expertise in ETL tools and data engineering processes.Programming Languages: Proficiency in Python and SQL; experience with Scala is a plus.AWS Services: working knowledge of AWS Connect, Amazon S3, AWS Lambda, and AWS GlueGeneral SkillsFull life-cycle data conversion experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Systems, including deployment experienceProficiency in query languagesFamiliarity with and construction of complex query statementsKnowledge of various database structuresData analysis, investigative and logic skillsExperience with data conversion scripts and toolsExperience with overseeing /completing all tasks involved in the conversion process including data extraction, cleansing, transformation and loadingExperience liaising with teams to understand to-be migration requirements.Establish a strong working relationship with all groups, interact effectively with all levels of client personnel, and provide conversion support.Experience completing mapping, interfaces, conversion work, documentation and verifying completeness and accuracy of converted data.Experience delivering the required system changes and/or working with the development team or a dedicated conversion team to specify loads programs.Experience providing support through the cutover processA team player with a track record for meeting deadlines, managing competing priorities and client relationship management experienceCommunication, facilitation, negotiation, consensus building, and problem-solving skillsDesirable SkillsKnowledge and experience in business case developmentKnowledge and understanding of Information Management principles, concepts, policies and practicesExcellent understanding of master data and transactional data concepts and interdependence #J-18808-Ljbffr
