Position Property and casualty insurance agent, with AMF licence Overview As a property and casualty insurance agent, you help serve, prospect, solicit and develop and maintain business relationships with members and clients. You sell general insurance products and services via multiple distribution channels, promoting property and casualty coverage, serving members, analyzing needs, achieving sales goals and ensuring member satisfaction while representing Desjardins. The role requires quick learning and effective technology use. Responsibilities Serve members and clients, assess needs, analyze risks, promote insurance products and help choose coverage. Prepare quotes and issue insurance contracts. Analyze special underwriting files and make recommendations to practitioners. Respond to information requests, amend and renew contracts, and follow up as needed. Develop business partnerships to generate referrals. Qualifications General college diploma in a related field. Minimum of three years of relevant experience. Advanced proficiency in French. Other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered.
