Your Role In your role as a Therapeutic Area Specialist, you will be at the forefront of our mission to enhance patient care through effective engagement with healthcare professionals. You will be responsible for achieving sales targets by developing and executing a strategic account management plan tailored to your assigned territory. This involves fostering strong relationships with key stakeholders—such as reproductive endocrinologists, fertility specialists, and clinic administrators—while translating these relationships into improved patient outcomes. You will engage in scientific dialogue, providing data‑driven insights that clearly articulate the therapeutic benefits of our products. As the territory expert, you will collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including marketing, medical affairs, and customer care, to inform strategy and enhance the value proposition of EMD Serono’s offerings. You will also navigate both promotional and non‑promotional discussions, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company policies, and report adverse events and product complaints. You may travel up to 75% of the time to meet with healthcare professionals and stakeholders. Who You Are We are looking for a self‑driven professional who has strong project management skills, is proficient in CRM and Microsoft Office applications, and understands all relevant company policies, industry codes, and applicable laws. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in a scientific field (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, Pharma) plus 5 years of sales experience in a specialty therapeutic area, preferably in pharma or biotech. Preferred Qualifications Proficiency in English and French (required in some territories). Outstanding consultative‑selling skills and proven ability to build and manage relationships with internal partners. Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with customers, both in person and virtually. Self‑driven, strong project‑management skills, and proficiency in CRM and Microsoft Office applications.
