The student would be involved in all aspects of integrity management, including project quality & in-service integrity management.This position will be based in-person, in our downtown Calgary office.What you’ll be doing:You will learn about asset integrity within the Oil & Gas industryYou will receive supervision and mentorship from a senior member of the Asset Integrity TeamSpecific Job functions will include: short term project planning, water operations scheduling, cost management, AER Inspections Responses, and regulatory submissions.Manage Temporary Water Diversion LicencesDevelopment of alternative sourcesGroundwater Exploration for secondary sources to surface waterWho you are:You are currently enrolled in your 2nd year of Mechanical Engineering, or relevant programYou are currently enrolled at one of the following post-secondary institutions: SAIT, University of Calgary, Mount Royal University, University of Alberta, or Queens.You are able to work effectively in a team environment.You are someone who values feedback as a learning tool.You are motivated, hard-working and determined to achieve superior results.You are focused and have a keen attention to detail.Previous oil and gas experience is not required, however it is considered an assetTo be eligible for a Paramount Resources student position, you must meet the following requirements:You are currently enrolled in a post-secondary institutionYou are available to work the full duration of the work termYou are currently residing in Calgary or willing to relocate for your work termYou are legally entitled to work in Canada, without restriction by way of one of the following: Canadian Citizenship, Permanent Residency, or Valid work permitWhat we can offer YOU:This position will provide you with an opportunity to leverage your skills in support of a nimble, Canadian-based energy company.
