We are currently looking for a Senior Patient Care Navigator to be the supportive force for oncology reimbursement excellence at Sentrex. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem solver with exceptional communication skills, and meticulous attention to detail. The Senior Patient Care Navigator will aid in the development, implementation, and support of the reimbursement process across Sentrex.A Day in the Life (What you will do here):Navigate the Canadian reimbursement landscape with ease and confidence to secure coverage for various treatment areas with public and private payers.Leads appeal writing process in collaboration with designated PSP point of contactDevelop, implement and/or assist with regular reimbursement updates, training, and best practice sharing.Identify and promote new innovative reimbursement strategies.Drive the development and implementation of reimbursement training and productsInitiate cases with insurance companies and healthcare professionals to maximize reimbursement solutionsResponds to calls, emails, and voicemails in a very efficient and friendly manner.Set and processes tasks on time, and as required, to ensure an optimal patient and Physician experience.Timely enrollment of the patients into the Haven Patient Support Program.Ensures patient services are coordinated and tracked in a timely manner resulting in quick and continued access to therapy.Prioritizes conflicting needs; handles all matters expeditiously, proactively, and follows-through on tasks to successful completion.Electronically updates the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and provides patients and clinics with timely proactive updates.Successfully completes critical aspects of deliverables with a hands-on collaborative approach.Reports Adverse Events / Severe Adverse Events (AE / SAEs) by following SOP guidelines.Requirement to maintain outlined service levels for various clients, projects and initiatives.Fosters and promotes a spirit of teamwork while working with various internal business units.Act a liaison and provide ongoing feedback to the Manager based-on observations in the field and feedback from customers as it pertains to quality of services, training, and other areas of importance.Completes all relevant reports (billing, time sheets, expenses, mileage, validate CRM reports, etc.) as per specified timelines and as per required standards.Participates in building relationships crucial to the success of the organization and manages a variety of special projects.Always maintains professionalism, and strict confidentiality with all materials, and exercises discretion when interfacing with the business.Additional duties as required and as determined by your Manager.What you need to ensure you are set up for success:A Bachelor’s degreein a related field or equivalent work experience.Experience working within a hospital cancer clinic is considered a strong asset.Prior experience in Oncology reimbursement requiredPharmacy experience preferredMust have previous appeal writing experience and proven track record of successful outcomesPrevious experience working within a specialty pharmacy is considered a strong asset.Prior experience in Oncology reimbursement requiredExperience working directly with Physicians and HCPs with a comprehensive understanding of patient flow is requiredPrevious experience working within a Patient Support Programs preferred.Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, phone systems, and experience working with databases (i.e., ERP/CRM).
