Further information is available at www.bgis.comWe are looking to have a full-time bilingual (French/English) People and Culture Coordinator join our team This position can be held hybrid from our offices in Ottawa, ON or Montreal, QC.SummaryA people and culture coordinator is responsible for implementing, monitoring, and coordinating HR functions such as recruitment, employee file management, and compliance with internal policies. May work under the supervision of an HR manager or director.Key duties & responsibilitiesCoordinate the recruitment process as neededManage employee files (letters of employment, legal requests, etc.)Ensure internal policies comply with labor lawsSupport internal communication and the work environmentDevelop relationships with internal / external clients to ensure smooth day-to-day operations; correspond to internal/external inquiries stemming from “ASK HR”Process enquiries from askpc@bgis.com; resignations@bgis.com and recruitment@bgis.com internal email boxProcess resignation, leave of absence, retirementPrepare employment letters when they are outside of the systemUpdate Intrazone page as requestedFollow up on work permits, internal contracts, maternity leaveBook fireside chat meetings with the executivesSupport Future Leader Program as requestedKnowledge & SkillsCollege or high school diplomaOne to three years of experience in an administrative position, preferably in human resourcesAbility to communicate fluently in French and EnglishAbility to obtain a valid security clearanceProven team spiritFlexibility and adaptabilityStrong interpersonal and organizational skillsResourcefulness and initiativeStrong office software skillsProficiency in Office, Word, Excel, PPT, and Outlook/TeamsLicenses and/or Professional AccreditationCHRP would be considered an assetBGIS is an equal opportunity employer and we welcome you to apply for a position with us.
