We’re looking for compassionate, team-oriented Registered Practical Nurses (RPNs) and Registered Nurses (RNs) who are driven to make meaningful connections and a positive impact every day.Located in beautiful Orléans, Ontario, this brand-new long‑term care residence will feature 134 private rooms with ensuites and 90 shared rooms, designed for comfort, dignity, and well‑being. Residents will enjoy 24‑hour nursing care alongside a range of personalized supports that help them live well, feel valued, and stay connected to what matters most in their lives.About the RoleThe RPN/RN reports to the Director of Care and plays a vital role in delivering high‑quality, resident‑centered care. You’ll provide leadership, clinical expertise, and supervision to the healthcare team, ensuring that residents’ physical, emotional, and psychosocial needs are met in accordance with professional standards and regulatory requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver direct nursing care and support to residents based on individualized care plansAdminister medications and treatments safely and accuratelyMonitor residents’ conditions and promptly report any changes to the care team or physicianCollaborate with residents, families, and interdisciplinary teams to develop and update care plansSupervise and support PSWs and fellow nursing team members, fostering teamwork and accountabilityPromote resident‑first care in alignment with the Residents’ Bill of RightsParticipate in assessments, admissions, transfers, and dischargesMaintain accurate and timely clinical documentationEnsure compliance with LTC standards, infection control practices, and safety protocolsConduct shift rounds and ensure continuity of careManage nursing supplies and equipment efficientlyAddress resident and family concerns with empathy and professionalismContribute to quality improvement initiatives and staff educationJob QualificationsRPN: Registered Practical Nurse in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO)RN: Registered Nurse in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO)Minimum 1 year of nursing experience (long‑term care experience preferred)Current CPR certificationKnowledge of RAI‑MDS; AIS certification required or must be obtained within one year of hireStrong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skillsUnderstanding of relevant LTC legislation, IPAC practices, and quality standardsCompassionate and resident‑focused approach to careFrench language skills considered an assetSeniority levelAssociateEmployment typeFull‑timeJob functionHealth Care ProviderIndustriesNursing Homes and Residential Care Facilities #J-18808-Ljbffr
