All candidates must submit their resume through: https://jobs.domtar.com/Application InformationEmployer Name:Meadow Lake Mechanical Pulp Inc.Initially working in the Mills Warehouse driving clamp truck, the successful candidate will be expected to function in all production jobs and eventually progress to the Control Room Operator position. Onsite training will be provided.Responsibilities:Understands and follows all safe work practices and proceduresOperate and maintain main mill equipment through continuous monitoring and troubleshootingOperate and monitor clamp trucksMaintain records of pulp production storage and complete bill of lading for trucksPerform lockoutsMaintain a high level of housekeeping standardsComplete a variety of pulp testingEnsure internal and external customer specifications are met or exceededMaintain strong communicationAssist with creation of manuals and guidelinesAssist in training and directing junior employeesAssist with plant shutdowns and start-ups as requiredQualifications:Industrial or equipment experience is considered an assetWilling and able to work 12 hour rotating shiftsAbility to work in extreme weather conditions and temperaturesCapable of working at heights and in confined spacesStrong mechanical knowledge and understandingHighly motivated and able to work independentlyManual dexterity and the ability to remain standing, crouching, or bending for longer periodsThis is a boundless and stimulating opportunity within a rewarding team environment for an individual who is energetic and eager to enhance their skills. #J-18808-Ljbffr
