Position Summary The successful candidate will be a perpetual learner who has a proficient understanding of Information Technology tools and services. Working in a large IT environment, the student will be a curious, perceptive analytical thinker with excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to work in pressure situations, both individually and in a team environment. Your Role In The Game Working on a range of Solution Delivery assignments including areas of: Solution Management Application Development Infrastructure Development Quality Control Work closely with the senior testing team to review requirements, produce design specifications and develop and test software to support the implementation of business solutions Collaborate with Technology Operations to support vendors and internal business stakeholders on new or revised applications, systems, and environment setup related to implementing and operating the solution Plan and set up project environments required for development and testing Maintain an overall perspective of current relevant technologies and processes What You Need To Play Currently enrolled in a post‑secondary program with a focus in computer science, information technology, business administration, and/or project management discipline An aptitude for learning on the job Strong analytical skills with the ability to use critical thinking to inform effective decision making Ability to manage multiple competing priorities and deadlines simultaneously Ability to work in a dynamic and fast‑paced environment that requires comfort with ambiguity Solid interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong verbal and written communication skills Exceptional PowerPoint and Excel skills Perks Of Joining Our Team Working as part of a large Technology and Digitally driven organization Being part of a collaborative working environment alongside OLG Leaders who support the growth and development of students Participate in Diversity and Inclusion initiatives across the organization including Pride Parade and Women’s Leadership Programs Support OLG Charities including the Federated Health Campaign, United Way Campaign and other fundraising efforts for local charities Application Instructions If you are in a co-op program, please apply through your school’s portal or co‑op coordinator AND through the OLG student careers page: https://olg.wd3.myworkdayjobs.com/Careers-Students If you are not in an official co‑op program or we have not posted at your school, please apply through the OLG student careers page using the link above.
