This is what we are all about.We form genuine relationships and support our team members to achieve their wildest dreams through leading with care, our Bold Kindness philosophy.What We Offer:Nurse Next Door People Promise, you love coming to work$35.00 to $45.00 per hour24/7 support center to assist with scheduling related questions24/7 assistance related to client careIn home care with private clientsResponsibilities and Duties:Provide professional foot care including:Nail trimming and filingCallus and corn reductionAssessment and care for thickened, fungal, or ingrown nailsIdentification of potential complications (e.g. ulcers, infections, circulation issues)Conduct foot and lower limb assessments and document findingsDevelop and implement personalized care plans based on client needsEducate clients on proper foot hygiene, footwear, and self-care strategiesMaintain accurate documentation in accordance with regulatory standardsAdhere to infection control and sterilization protocols at all timesCommunicate effectively with clients, caregivers, families, and interdisciplinary team membersTravel to client homes or residential facilities as requiredMaintain foot care supplies and equipmentExecute on the client’s care plan as outlined by the Care DesignerFunction within the limits of your own experience and knowledge, while practicing safely and competently within the job descriptionComplete records and documentation accurately and thoroughlyService the Greater Victoria areaLooking for all day time visit (700-1800) weekdays and weekendsRequirements:Current registration in good standing as an LPN with BCCNMCompletion of an Advanced Nursing Foot Care Certification from a recognized programValid CPR/First Aid certificationClear criminal record check with vulnerable sector screeningValid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation (if applicable)Professional liability insurance (as required by regulatory body)Preferred Experience:1+ years experience in community nursing or foot careComfortable working independently in client homes or community settingsExperience working with seniors and clients with chronic conditions such as diabetes, arthritis, or vascular diseaseWhat We Offer:Competitive compensationFlexible scheduling and autonomySupportive and collaborative team environmentContinuing education opportunitiesMileage reimbursement (if mobile)PPE and equipment provided (or allowance)Join us in making a meaningful difference in the lives of others—one step at a time.Nurse Next Door is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
