You will be responsible in managing relationships with various stakeholders and take the lead during requirements gathering. You should have an appetite for development opportunity and a drive to achieve greatness. You will work on core products, growth division products and even new products development when there's an opportunity. This role calls for immense professional and personal growth opportunity, where you will have direct influence on the scaling of system and product growth for Info-Tech Research Group.Post-secondary education in Computer Science, Application Development, or Information TechnologyMinimum of 4 years of hands-on technical leadership and people management experienceDemonstrated experience overseeing technical direction of large-scale projectsStrong communicator with the ability to work collaboratively across multiple teamsAbility to analyze processes and information, identify problems and trends, and develop effective solutions and strategiesPreferred qualifications:10 years of experience in DevelopmentAgile Certification or Project Management CertificationExposure to Ruby on RailsExperience working within a cloud-based infrastructureMajor Responsibilities:Define technical solutions and research alternatives to meet business requirement goals, end user requirements and system requirementsOrganize and facilitate project planning, daily stand-up meetings, reviews, retrospectives, sprint and release planning, demos and other Scrum-related meetings. Track and communicate team velocity and sprint/release progress.Define system responsibilities and document data flows between systemsWrite epics and detailed user stories to populate the product backlog. Estimate stories in the backlog to facilitate release planning, project approvals and prioritizationManage and provide direction for the application development team in support of business operations. Approve and schedule holidays and absences for team members.
