Intermediate / Senior Bridge Engineer Locations: Markham, Brampton, Ottawa, Hamilton, London, ON. As part of the Transportation team, you will work on new bridge structures, inspection and evaluation of existing bridges, and rehabilitation projects. Responsibilities Assist with on‑site inspection, analysis and condition assessment of existing structures; perform construction and life‑cycle cost estimates. Assist with planning and schematic/geometric layout of new structures. Perform analysis and design calculations according to applicable design codes; use appropriate computer programs. Prepare plan drawings and details. Assist in preparation of construction specifications. Perform material quantity take‑offs. Organize design calculations and assist with construction administration, including reviews of shop drawings and requests for information. Qualifications 4–8 years of relevant engineering experience. P.Eng designation obtained or will be obtained soon. Bachelor of Civil Engineering. Bridge inspection experience OSIM. Knowledge of structural analysis software. Familiarity with Bentley’s MicroStation. Proficiency with MS Office software. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work in a team environment.
