Job Description Warehouse Address: 1845 Kingsway Ave, Units 1105-1140, Port Coquitlam, BC, V3C 1T1 Shift Time: Full time, 6AM-2:30PM Wage: $21.30 - $23.30 Responsibilities Responsible for daily warehouse activities, directing employees to ensure tasks meet customer service standards, productivity, and quality goals. Efficiently direct all job tasks within the operation to increase productivity and meet workload targets before the end of shift. Resolve production and personnel issues during shift and report necessary problems to Warehouse Supervisor. Administer company policies and represent Staples in a positive and professional manner. Ensure housekeeping standards and equipment maintenance. Ensure all Health and Safety guidelines are enforced. Working knowledge of warehouse operations; product knowledge would be an asset. Effective organizational, time management and problem‑solving skills. Strong interpersonal and team‑building skills that allow creation of positive working relationships. Additional Requirements Work requires moderate physical effort and use of motor skills; manual dexterity is needed. The employee will regularly sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, and crouch. The employee may lift, lower, or carry products up to a maximum of 50 pounds by hand. May operate warehouse equipment with proper safety procedures to eliminate hazards.
