Role: Intermediate RF Technician The intermediate technician is an entry-level skilled worker who may require supervision from more experienced technicians or engineering staff. This technician performs tasks related to established systems or new projects of low to medium complexity, working from written instructions or general guidelines, and participates in testing electronic units and complex systems. Responsibilities / Tasks: Assemble and modify developmental electronic circuits following specific guidelines. Assemble, modify, and verify test benches and equipment. Perform basic RF unit tests, including interference measurements, noise figure, RF gain, and power supply tests. Use RF measuring instruments such as vector network analyzers and spectrum analyzers to perform measurements like reflection coefficient, return loss, insertion loss, gain, and power. Install electronic assemblies in test jigs. Conduct thermal and vacuum thermal tests on RF electronic sub-assemblies. Record test results and experiment data. Follow flight test procedures and internal protocols. Adhere to occupational health and safety regulations. Perform other related duties as assigned. Required Profile: Resourcefulness and ability to adapt. Strong analytical skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team. Qualifications: College diploma or equivalent in electrical engineering, electronics, telecommunications, or a related field. 2 to 5 years of relevant experience. Fluency in spoken and written French; knowledge of English is an asset. Relevant knowledge and experience in RF systems. Additional Information: Successful candidates must obtain and hold security clearance at the reliability status level and pass assessments for the Controlled Goods Program (CGP) and ITAR.
