Well… you might just be in the right placeWe’re looking for a Staff Product Manager to join our Payments (Financial Services) team to build experiences and services that help drive the success of merchants across the globe. You will be responsible for overall team product direction and strategy which will involve frequent collaboration with customers and internal teams to help shape priorities and build the roadmap. This dynamic position requires the ability to collaborate effectively with multiple internal teams and stakeholders, be productive and adaptable in the face of evolving business priorities, and be able to take responsibility and ownership in coming up with solutions for our customers' pain points.If you are a dedicated problem-solver and are ready to make a huge impact on an international scale, then this is the position for youWhat You’ll Be DoingCrafting feature and scope definitions that balance customer, business and implementation perspectivesGathering insights from our existing customer base, internal stakeholders, and market trends to help shape product directionCreating easily understood product delivery plans and requirements in collaboration with technical and design team membersDriving implementation and execution of the team’s roadmapContributing and evaluating new product concepts for consideration in future roadmap plansCollaborating with Go-to-Market teams to coordinate successful product launchesDefining and reporting on product successBuilding trusted relationships with stakeholders, both internally and externallyBecoming the Product SME for the product offerings you ownContributing as part of the wider team to achieve organizational objectives even if this means doing things that aren’t strictly within the scope of your roleWhat You Need To BringSuccessful candidates must have a proven product management track record in SaaS products at scale.Bachelor’s degree8+ years of experience in product management, ideally within ecommerce, payments and/or SaSS products.Demonstrated expertise in leading cross-functional teams, driving product vision, and executing product roadmaps in a fast-paced, agile environment.Excellent communication and leadership skills, capable of articulating complex concepts to a diverse audience, including senior leadership, technical teams, and non-technical stakeholders.A deep passion for enhancing user experiences through technology, with a customer-centric approach to solving problems and delivering value.A collaborative mindset, with the ability to forge strong relationships across the organization, influence without authority, and lead teams toward shared goals and successful outcomes.Expertise in product management and Agile/Scrum product development life cycles, as well as building and delivering high-quality software on timeA solid understanding of setting, measuring, and improving product success metricsFamiliarity working in parallel with multiple squads across different time-zonesAbility to lead client discovery, solutioning, and alignment conversationsUnderstanding of product strategy development and roadmapping toolsEven Better If You Have, But Not NecessaryMBAUnderstanding of payments, ecommerce, invoicing, and other products that are critical in retail merchant workflowsRetail and eCommerce industry experienceWe know that people are more than what’s on their CV. These considerations can cause your compensation to vary. We reasonably expect the base salary for this position to be in the range of $170,000 - $200,000 USD, depending on the candidate’s location. Additionally, this role may be eligible for discretionary short-term and long-term incentives. Lightspeed also provides a variety of employee benefits including, but not limited to, medical, dental, wellness, life and disability insurance, 401K plan and match, paid parental leave top-up, and paid time off.Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within the United States, and refers to the amount Lightspeed is willing to pay at the time of this posting, which may vary depending on the candidate’s actual location.
