Join us and help shape the future of integrated, high-quality, accessible healthcare across Canada.The OpportunityAs a Virtual Hospitalist, you’ll deliver high-quality care through Teladoc Health Canada’s virtual platforms. You will:Join a team of Hospitalists working with onsite clinicians to bring additional support to general wards virtuallyEvaluate, diagnose, treat, and manage in-patients; order/review labs and imaging; address results and emerging issuesCollaborate with onsite clinicians, remote physicians, and nursing staff to prioritize and distribute patient casesParticipate in patient rounds, huddles, and interdisciplinary meetings; ensure effective handovers between shiftsEscalate complex cases to shift leads or Teladoc medical leadership as requiredPartner with medical, nursing, and management teams; foster a supportive, relationship-based cultureShifts typically fall on any day of the week from 8:00 am – 4:00 pm PSTWhat You’ll NeedCurrent, unrestricted licensure with CPSBCAt least 1–3 years clinical experience working as a hospitalistMust be available to work on weekendsPassion for equitable, high-quality care and for delivering it virtually to patients in needComfortable using or learning digital platforms and EMRsExperience working in the digital health sector preferredWhat We OfferPredictable scheduling: Build your practice around your lifeRobust clinical training: We get you ready before your first shiftFull administrative support: IT, scheduling, payment and more handled for youContinuous quality improvement: Backed by a dedicated clinical leadership teamReady to explore the possibilities?Let’s have a conversation.
