OverviewOur client is a large company providing legal services in North America and around the world. They are looking for a highly analytical and strategic leader to lead their profitability efforts. The Profitability Manager will drive profitability initiatives, including supporting and enhancing the budgeting and forecasting processes, refining and enhancing profitability methodology, and performing profitability analyses.Reporting to the Chief Pricing and Practice Support Officer, you will lead the team’s profitability initiatives across all of client’s offices globally. You will operate with conviction and partner extensively with cross-functional teams and the firm’s leadership team to drive process improvements and incremental value to the firm. The successful candidate will be comfortable immersing themselves in data to identify opportunities to drive incremental revenue and margin to the firm. You have the ability to persuade others through a data-driven approach.ResponsibilitiesLead Profitability initiatives across all aspects of the businessWork with leadership teams and cross-functional teams to identify, define, and execute profitability initiativesWork closely with the Pricing team to identify pricing opportunities to drive incremental profitabilityHave senior executive presence, and be comfortable leading discussions with all levels of the firmIdentify and drive profitability recommendations through to implementation and resultsAct as a change agent by enabling and influencing stakeholders to recommendations madeCollaborate with the senior leadership team, Finance, Business Analytics, Marketing, and IT, as requiredMonitor key metrics to derive insights and identify opportunities for incremental profitabilityRequirementsBusiness Degree in Strategy or Finance, MBA preferable.5+ years of Strategy and / or Finance professional services experience at a top tier consulting firm2+ years managing projects end to endExcellent team leadership and interpersonal skills; ability to persuade, communicate vision and motivate people at every level, cooperative working stylePrevious experience managing teams desirable.Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skillsThe PerksOur client is dedicated to rewarding your contributions and encouraging your professional development.
