Our global team is made of dreamers, doers and innovators who are Delivering POWER for a safer, brighter and more sustainable tomorrow.**Job Posting Title**Millwright**Job Description Summary**Fabricates, installs and repairs machinery and equipment in industrial establishment by performing the following duties**Job Description*** Follows safe operating procedures* Maintain 5S standards* Performs PM activities as required* Communicates with co-workers from the previous and following shifts to discuss problems and concerns* Actively participates in continuous improvement activities* Reads blueprints and schematic drawings to determine work procedures* Fabricates, assembles and installs equipment such as automation, material handling devices, shafting and conveyors* Installs and maintains building, grounds, utilities, air conditioning systems, and compressed air systems* Repairs and maintains material handling devices, including hoists, carts and forklifts* Operates lathe to grind, file, and turn machine parts to dimensional specifications* Repairs and lubricates machines and equipment* Orders supplies with purchase requisition according to work order assigned through Maintenance Supervisor* Closes out work orders upon completion* Observes and listens to mechanical devices in operation to troubleshoot any issues* Dismantles devices to gain access to and remove defective parts* Examines form and texture of mechanical parts to detect imperfections* Inspects used mechanical parts to determine changes in dimensional requirements* Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments* Repairs and replaces defective mechanical parts. Installs special functional and structural parts in devices.
