Interactive Designer, Digital Products (French Services) (Telework/Hybrid) Join the CBC/Radio‑Canada team as an Interactive Designer, creating engaging digital experiences on websites and apps in French. Position Details Employment Type: Part time, temporary (STTRC) Location: 1000, Rue Papineau, Montreal, Quebec, H2K 0C2 (hybrid) Work schedule: Part time Number of openings: 1 Language: French (reading, speaking, writing) Responsibilities Analyze project needs and objectives, assess functions and behaviours to optimise user experience. Develop and define site architecture, navigation, interactions, and segues. Storyboard and organise information, create storyboards and mock‑ups. Design visual interfaces (style sheets, colour charts, typography, visual signatures, layouts, data visualisations). Conduct user tests and plan research activities with the UX Research team. Provide guidance and recommendations to ensure analytical, user‑focused solutions. Maintain technical constraints and propose tailored solutions. Supervise quality control and adhere to deadlines and milestones. Research market trends and new web practices. Assist with cross‑functional duties as needed. Required Skills Observation and analysis skills. Graphic and visual creativity. Independence and diligence. Responsiveness and resourcefulness. Ability to see the big picture and think rationally and ergonomically. Communication and teamwork skills. Interest and curiosity for digital media and AI. Understanding of web interfaces, tools and technologies. Knowledge of web, apps, connected TVs and personal data security practices. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, graphic communication, multimedia design, interface design or equivalent. Three or more years’ experience in a similar position in a multiplatform digital work environment. Additional Skills (assets) Excellent knowledge of web and app UX and UI design. Knowledge of Figma, Abstract, Miro and the Adobe Creative Suite. Knowledge of digital accessibility, SEO, and ecodesign. Knowledge of HTML, iOS and Android app environments. Experience applying AI in a workplace scenario. Knowledge of the digital media market. Knowledge of English (spoken and written). Application Requirements Submit a digital portfolio (URL or PDF).
