As a Financial Services Consultant, you will be responsible for building relationships with clients of our personal Group Choices plan. Your objective is to provide comprehensive portfolio reviews, assist with retirement planning discussions, and advise clients on financial decisions while helping them achieve their financial goals. You will strengthen client relationships while achieving service and sales targets, demonstrating care, inspiring confidence, and making it easy for clients to do business with Sun Life.

  • Connect with clients by phone and educate them on the benefits of their Group Choices plan while encouraging them to save with Sun Life.
  • Partner with clients to be ‘retirement ready’ through the use of planning tools.
  • Provide investment advice to clients related to their financial needs, including savings and retirement income.
  • Review portfolio investments, product options, savings goals, and assist with asset consolidation.
  • Create an investment risk assessment profile for clients to align their investments with their desired risk tolerance.
  • Achieve sales targets by building great relationships and delivering a wonderful client experience.
    • Minimum of 2-3 years of related sales experience in the financial services industry is preferred.
    • Minimum of 2-3 years of sales/service experience is required.
    • Bilingualism (French, English) is required for Quebec only.
    • Ability to quickly build rapport and relationships with clients over the phone/video conferencing.

    Schedule:

    • Our Client Service Centre takes calls from clients between the hours of 8 a.m. li>
    • Employees are scheduled for a consistent shift three out of four weeks.
