Creates quotations on standard items, writes orders, and relays pertinent order information to customers. Coordinates with other departments to handle purchase orders and provide service to customers. Performs other related duties as assigned. Job Duties / Responsibilities Answer customer calls to assess and understand their needs, selling and promoting automation solutions. Provide technical support regarding product use or troubleshooting. Work directly with and support Outside Sales staff. Manage inventory, basic understanding of shipping/receiving. Manage customer accounts, entering job/price contracts into the operating system. Promote products, create quotations, and follow‑up with customers. Participate in continuous product training. Expedite orders and follow‑up with customers. Navigate Vendor’s portal. Check credit status with the credit department for rush orders. Understand customer segmentation, product balance, key customer relationships, market shares, and general trends in the economic environment. Facilitate communications between customers, outside sales representatives, technicians, and manufacturers’ representatives. Perform other related duties as assigned. Work Experience Requirements / Skills 1–3 years of Inside Sales experience dealing with customers. Excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal, organization, and presentation skills. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively across levels from sales reps to senior management. Ability to work independently and efficiently to meet deadlines. Self‑motivated, high attention to detail, and well organized. 5+ years using Microsoft Office: MS Word, MS Excel, Outlook. Educational Requirements Technology Diploma.
