Conditions of Employment Must be legally entitled to work in Canada Must provide and maintain a satisfactory Criminal Record Check Must have a valid Manitoba Class 5 Intermediate/Full Driver's licence Must be able to travel occasionally, as required Qualifications – Essential Experience performing a wide variety of administrative and/or clerical functions to support program delivery. Experience performing accounting transactions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, budget reconciliations and/or creating financial reports. Experience working as a first point of contact with the public in a customer service-oriented environment and providing service to a diverse clientele. Proficiency working with Microsoft office such as Outlook, Word, Excel or similar software programs. Excellent interpersonal skills to facilitate effective working relationships with a team and the public. Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to provide information in a clear and concise manner. Excellent written communication skills with the ability to prepare, edit and format correspondence. Ability to work with a high degree of accuracy and strong attention to detail. Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks with competing deadlines. Ability to manage confidential and sensitive information. Ability to interpret, explain, and apply regulations, policies, and/or procedures. Problem solving skills with the ability to work independently with a high degree of initiative. Desired Qualifications Experience working with SAP or an equivalent financial management software. Duties The Program Support Clerk provides financial, program, and administrative support services to the Central Region. The position plays a pivotal role in ensuring that the office runs in an efficient and effective manner involving a wide range of activities such as financial management, purchasing, third party contract administration by managing vendor information, reconciling payment claim information, unblocking verified payments and assisting with report generation requests; as well as collects client documentation, validates eligibility, and maintains client records.
