Position SummaryNOIC ACADEMY is seeking a dedicated and passionate Chinese Teacher to join our high school faculty. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and rigorous instruction in Chinese to students in Grades 11&12, preparing students for academic success and fostering a positive learning environment.Key ResponsibilitiesPlan, develop, and deliver effective Chinese lessons in alignment with the Ontario curriculum standardsAssess, evaluate, and report on student progress using a variety of assessment tools.Maintain classroom discipline and a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs and learning styles of students.Integrate technology and digital tools to enhance student learning and collaborationParticipate in school activities, staff meetings, mentor-teacher conferences, and professional development.Collaborate with the Admission Department to assign new students to mentors.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Chinese literature , Education, or a related field.Teacher Certification in Ontario (OCT) is preferred.Minimum 2 years of experience teaching Chinese at the high school level preferred.Strong knowledge of Chinese curriculum and pedagogy.Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.A commitment to student success and lifelong learning.
