Vincent Massey Public School is an elementary school (K-8) with a strong focus on English, Early French Immersion, Deaf and Hard of Hearing, and Gifted Immersion programs. Responsibilities Ideal candidates will support the OCDSB’s Strategic Plan to enhance the quality of education in the school and the district by creating a positive and inclusive school climate, learning and workplace environment. Candidates will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and respectfully, with a human rights and equity perspective, to foster student success, achievement and well‑being. Eligibility This posting is open to all Occasional Teachers who do NOT already have a part‑time contract. If you are already a Part‑Time Contract Teacher with the OCDSB, please apply to the respective internal posting. If you are fully external to the OCDSB, you are encouraged to apply to this Permanent Contract posting if you have the required qualifications. Order of consideration for permanent contracts: current internal permanent elementary contract teacher applicants, current elementary occasional teacher applicants, and then qualified external applicants. The French language freeze is in effect; therefore if you accept any permanent contract teaching French contract, you may only be considered for other French contract positions.
