Job Description The Business Insights Analyst team within Finance collaborates with representatives across Sales Planning and the distribution channel, leveraging data and analytics to deliver strategies and solutions that drive profitable growth. The analyst must have exceptional data manipulation skills and an analytical mindset. Reporting to the Manager, Sales Planning and Analytics, you will support the achievement of ACG’s short‑ and long‑term mission, vision, and strategic objectives. Foster descriptive and diagnostic analytics to influence prescriptive analytics, resulting in strategically guided business decisions. Transform data into information, and information into insight. Simplify data and insights through best practices in data storytelling and data visualization. Metrics for Measurement Propose KPI tracking and measurement for new programs and initiatives. Influence forecasting and targets for various programs with data. Reporting Design Replace reports generated within stakeholder groups with optimization tools to create automated, interactive dashboards enabling powerful data exploration and proactive self‑serve analytics. Innovate and influence the design of new dashboards with a focus on simplicity and usability. Provision execution of reporting into data visualization tools by gathering requirements, performing data validation, UAT testing, and communicating the rollout of new dashboards. Data Consultations Consolidate analytical and data requirements on project initiatives. Collaborate across the organization to evaluate enterprise‑wide data and reporting available in support of providing analytical solutions to business partners. Consult and provide input on current data libraries and reports to help foster the implementation/creation of new initiatives. Provide analytical assistance to business partners in enhancing operational excellence and supporting sustainable profitable growth of the business with proactive analytics. Recommend program design features and technology architecture to ensure proper data collection for optimal reporting metrics and analysis capabilities to influence program success. Education and Experience Post‑Secondary Education. 3+ years of experience (Preferred). Technical Skills Data Analytics and Storytelling. Report & Dashboard Building and Revamping. Advanced knowledge of SAS and SQL. Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau and Power BI. Experience with Microsoft Suite with an emphasis on Excel and O365.
