Support Engineer – Amazon Support Engineer role at Amazon’s Selling Partner Financial Technology team. Selling on Amazon is one of the company’s fastest‑growing businesses. Since 1999, third‑party sellers have grown to account for 58% of Amazon sales, with a 52% annual growth rate compared to 25% for Amazon’s first‑party sales. The team aims to enable every partner to thrive globally by providing a trusted, simple, and intuitive financial experience. We support Store Partners with foundational capabilities for financial event onboarding, balance tracking, payouts, collections, risk reduction, and internal financial reporting. Currently serving 2.7M+ active sellers across 35+ internal businesses, we apply state‑of‑the‑art technology to solve complex business problems. Our projects have significant visibility and impact, directly tied to Amazon’s profitability and growth. Provide support of incoming tickets, including extensive troubleshooting tasks, with responsibilities covering multiple products, features and services. Work on operations and maintenance driven coding projects, primarily in Java. Software deployment support in staging and production environments. Develop tools to aid operations and maintenance. Work with engineering team for taking over active support issues and creating a team specific knowledge base and skill set. Basic Qualifications 2+ years of software development, or 2+ years of technical support experience. Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent. Experience troubleshooting and debugging technical systems. Experience in Unix. Preferred Qualifications Experience with AWS, networks and operating systems.
