Security Operations Centre Operator – UHN & West Park Healthcare Paladin Security is hiring a Security Operations Centre (SOC) Operator to support the University Health Network and West Park Healthcare facilities in Toronto. Location: Toronto, ON Pay Rate: $23.98/hour Employment Type: Full-Time Annual Base Pay: CA$49,878.00/yr Responsibilities Oversee daily security operations and support staff deployment. Operate command centre systems, including CCTV, access control, and fire/life safety systems. Serve as the primary dispatcher and respond to incidents in real time. Conduct emergency overhead announcements and assist with crisis coordination. Handle visitor management, ID/access card distribution, and Lost & Found procedures. Maintain detailed incident reports and daily logs. Collaborate closely with security supervisors, site coordinators, and hospital administration. Provide professional communication and support to clients, visitors, and team members. Required Qualifications Valid Ontario Security Guard License. Proficient in English (oral and written). Proof of double COVID-19 vaccination. Valid Immunization Record (MMR, Varicella, TB tests 1 & 2). First Aid & CPR – Level C (WSIB approved). Experience working in a command or dispatch centre.
