Position: Medical Lab Technologist

Status: Temporary Full Time

Shift: 23:00 - 6:00

Discipline: Chemistry

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting a wide range of diagnostic and interpretive specimen testing.
  • Assisting with the evaluation and implementation of new technology.
  • Adhering to laboratory safety protocols and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and quality assurance standards.

What you will bring to the role:

  • College diploma or University degree in Medical Laboratory Science, or equivalent education and/or experience.
  • Strong computer skills in MS Office products, as well as laboratory analyzers.

Technical Elements:

  • Must have a solid understanding of Quality Assurance and Quality Control and be able to apply this knowledge at the right time to ensure good quality results including strong QC troubleshooting skills.
  • Understanding of Regulatory Compliance including IQMH, CAP, Proficiencies, and outlier follow-up.
  • Minimum of 3 years of current Chemistry experience is required.
  • Proven ability of strong organizational behavior with the capability to multi-task, delegate, support, and work collaboratively with Bio-Chemists, Management, and Quality and Regulatory Affairs.
