Base pay range CA$50.00/hr - CA$75.00/hr Job Title: Occupational Therapist Job Type: Permanent Full-Time Work Environment: Hybrid / Community Based (flexible schedule) Bayshore Healthcare is seeking an Occupational Therapist who is committed to guiding clients through every step of their recovery journey, and who is ready to join a compassionate team dedicated to restoring independence and improving lives for those undergoing rehabilitation—no matter how long it takes Bonuses and Perks Fast track to leadership (estimated 6-12 months) Compensated travel time and mileage for work in the community Compensated admin time for work done remotely Continued Education Yearly Allowance Reimbursement for College of Occupational Therapists of Canada (COTO) and/or Quebec Order of Occupational Therapists (OEQ) registrations. In this role, you will provide: Assessments & Planning: Evaluate patients with physical, cognitive, or emotional challenges to determine their ability to perform daily activities. Therapeutic Interventions: Design and implement individualized treatment plans to help patients regain independence in self-care, work, and leisure activities. Adaptive Strategies: Teach patients new techniques or recommend assistive devices to make everyday tasks easier. Environment Modification: Suggest changes to home or workplace environments to improve safety and accessibility. Education & Support: Train patients and families on exercises, equipment use, and coping strategies. What you need to have: University degree in Occupational Therapy Member of the Quebec Order of Occupational Therapists (OEQ) and Ontario College of Occupational Therapists (COTO), or eligible to register 1 - 2 years of experience as an Occupational Therapist; strong preference for candidates with pediatric client experience Professional proficiency in both English and French strongly preferred Strong communication and clinical reasoning skills Driver’s license and access to a vehicle ** Only candidates selected to be moved forward in the recruitment process will be contacted by Bayshore’s Recruitment Team to schedule a conversation.
