ABOUT THE ROLE:We’re looking for a licensed Plumber with strong leadership potential to take on the role of Site Supervisor for mechanical construction projects. This opportunity is well-suited for a Red Seal–certified plumber with practical mechanical experience who’s ready to lead field activities, oversee small crews, and support project delivery under the mentorship of a senior Site Supervisor or Project Manager. This role blends technical know-how, site-level oversight, and team leadership in a safety-focused work environment.ADVANTAGES:Competitive hourly wage $54.41Access to a comapny vehicleOpportunity for growth potential into Sr. leadership rolesCompany RRSP with matching contributionsComprehensive health benefits (dental, vision, extended health)Life & disability insuranceWellness program (EAP)Paid time offOn-site parkingTuition reimbursement & career development opportunitiesAll tools, uniforms, PPE, and boot allowance are providedCompany events & a supportive team cultureCompetitive compensation packageRESPONSIBILITIES:Manage and coordinate field project activitiesSupervise and mentor a small crew of Apprentices, Journeypersons, and SubtradesPlan and execute daily workflow, including tasks such as:Plumbing, pipe fitting, measuring, cutting, coring, trenching, layout, and installationEnsure all work is performed in compliance with health and safety regulations and company policiesConduct hazard analysis, safety inspections, and maintain site documentationCoordinate material requisitions, deliveries, and equipment logistics with procurementTrack and manage timecards, incident reports, inspections, and site instructionsCommunicate and coordinate with clients, project team members, and other tradesMonitor project progress and report updatesMaintain a clean, safe, and organized job siteDelegate tasks and responsibilities appropriately while maintaining accountabilityIdentify and address technical or operational issues; escalate complex problems when necessaryEnsure quality standards are upheld throughout construction phasesREQUIREMENTS:Licensed Journeyperson / Red Seal in a mechanical trade (Plumbing, Pipefitting)Valid driver’s license and clean driver’s abstractExpereince working in schools, hospitals and industrial sectorsDemonstrated leadership of at least 3 personnel in a journeyperson roleStrong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skillsAbility to read and interpret IFC (Issued for Construction) drawingsCompletion of (or commitment to complete) required training within 2 years, including:Health & Safety Supervisor TrainingConstruction/Project Management (Scheduling, Communication, Forecasting)Proactive in learning new systems, codes, safety policies, and technical toolsAble to assess site risks and involve safety/management when neededCommitted to supporting and mentoring less experienced team members
