Environmental II at Alberta Health Services Your Opportunity: Alberta Health Services (AHS) is looking for a dependable, highly motivated individual for the position of Environmental Services II (cleaner/housekeeper trained to work in healthcare) that is dedicated to both high‑quality work and safety. AHS will provide the necessary training to safely clean and disinfect patient rooms, clinical areas, office areas and other common staff/public areas in accordance with Alberta Health Services standards and practices. Shift schedules may include a combination of day, evening and weekend shifts. Description: As an Environmental II, you will be responsible for tasks associated with intensive or specialized cleaning within a hospital or healthcare facility, using industrial cleaning supplies and powered equipment. Typical duties may include operating industrial cleaning equipment for floor maintenance, thorough washing of ceilings and windows, emptying hazardous waste, and providing training/orientation to Environmental staff.
