Role Description We are seeking a Real Estate Analyst. You will undertake supporting research and analysis on a wide range of litigation-related appraisal assignments, ranging from expropriation files, contamination claims, shareholder disputes, cash-in-lieu of parkland appeals, and ground rent resets. Typical tasks will include data collection and analysis, review of land use controls, profile of market and development trends, comparable sales research, creation of custom mapping and exhibits, report writing, and critical thinking. MPR Advisors Inc. provides real estate appraisal and advisory services to a wide range of law firms, private sector developers, landowners, and all levels of government. Comprehensive narrative appraisals to be used as expert evidence in mediations and OLT hearings Critical peer review of other expert appraisal reports Development and market feasibility studies Detailed proforma analysis Qualifications Strong research and analytical skills Post-secondary training in a relevant field such as Urban Planning, Commerce, Economics, or Geography. Experience with Planning Act applications, data analysis, and an understanding of economic and housing market metrics Expertise with Microsoft Excel, SketchUp, and Office 365. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel is ideal One to three years of experience is ideal, but we will consider candidates who have recently graduated Someone who is willing to commence the coursework and other requirements necessary to obtain the AACI designation Who are we?
