Role Overview As an Institutional Equity Salesperson, you will be a trusted advisor and a key strategist for institutional clients, covering Canadian small- and mid-cap equities across a wide range of sectors. In close partnership with Research and Trading, you\'ll execute on sales strategy, drive revenue, and build deep client relationships. Our flat team structure will provide significant exposure to every aspect of the firm and member of the team. We pride ourselves on being team and entrepreneurial oriented. Key Responsibilities Develop and manage strong relationships with a high-quality group of Canadian and International institutional portfolio managers and analysts to drive trading flow, place financings, and gather market intelligence across our coverage universe. Partner with Research to develop a strong understanding of our coverage universe, connect our analysts to clients, and provide ongoing market feedback on our products. Identify and open accounts with new sources of local and global capital to expand our market share and product awareness. Organize and participate in corporate and research analyst roadshows. Source new business development opportunities for the firm. Mentor junior members of the team. Meet or exceed sales and revenue targets while managing compliance and risk by adhering to firm and regulatory policies. Your Profile 5–8 years of institutional equity sales or research experience, ideally within small/mid‑cap Canadian equities. Proven track record of managing institutional investor relationships and delivering trading volume and revenue. Strong understanding of investment products, trading processes, and risk management. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Required to have or be willing to obtain US and Canadian registrations. Why Paradigm?
