You will report to the Manager, Payroll & Benefits and be responsible for a range of payroll and reconciliation duties, including year‑end processes, audits, reporting, and employee benefit administration. The Opportunity We’re looking for a Payroll & Reconcilations Specialist to support all year‑end reconciliations, audits, internal and external reporting, T2200 issuance, and multi‑company payroll administration across Canada. Responsibilities Manage year‑end reconciliations and internal & external reporting. Monitor payroll legislation changes for all Canadian provinces, including Quebec, and update year‑end processes. Reconcile GL accounts and prepare internal reporting. Process T2200 issuance and related documentation. Provide backup to the manager, performing all typical payroll cycle duties and participating in special projects and ad‑hoc reports. Execute the full cycle of multi‑province, bi‑weekly payrolls for salaried and hourly employees (ADP WFN). Prepare terminations, manual checks, and ROEs as needed. Administer multiple employee benefit programs, adding new records, processing changes, and handling terminations. Process payments to third parties, including garnishments, RRSPs, and pension plans. Ensure timely completion of monthly regulatory filings (WCB, EHT). Respond to payroll and benefit inquiries from internal departments promptly and courteously. Qualifications Completion of CPA Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) Certification. Experience in payroll year‑end accounting. Advanced knowledge of payroll legislation, including ESA. Advanced working knowledge of Word and Excel. Experience with ADP WFN preferred. 5–7 years of payroll or equivalent administrative experience. Detail‑oriented, accurate, motivated, and deadline‑driven. Ability to work calmly in a fast‑paced environment while handling confidential information with discretion. Strong independent work ethic and teamwork skills. Fluent English communication; bilingual French is an asset. Benefits Competitive compensation package.
