At Midas, we are dedicated to providing quality services to customer vehicles in the areas of inspection, diagnosis, and repair utilizing the expertise attained through years of automotive repair experience. You hold a valid and current Certificate of Qualification in the province of Ontario. We are looking for automotive technicians that are able to work independently of others, while also being able to work collaboratively at times with peers. We have a full-service facility and we are looking for automotive technicians to help us create an environment of successResponsibilitiesAs a Midas automotive technician, you’ll be responsible for performing a wide range of diagnostics, repairs and maintenance, including:Diagnostics using state-of-the-art computer systemsCheck engine lightSteering and suspensionBelts and hosesRadiator and engine cooling systemsBatteries, starting and chargingCar heating and air conditioningMufflers and exhaust servicesBrake repairOil servicesVisual safety and courtesy inspectionsTires and tire repairQualificationsAbility to repair vehicles independently, while also having experience working well in a team environmentKnowledge in automotive brakes, exhaust, suspension, tires & engine diagnosticsTrack record of high personal productivityKnowledge of, and adherence to, safety and environmental standards for repair facilitiesExperience using shop equipment such as lifts, tire changing equipment, alignment machines and diagnostic toolsProvincial Certificate of QualificationValid driver’s licenseOwn tools/equipment (diagnostic scanner / tools preferred also)Able to service both import and domestic vehiclesCompensation$40,000-$60,000Join Our TeamAs one of the largest destinations for automotive services, Midas is dominating the industry in developing career paths and building relationships within the communities they serve.At Midas, we take care of everything… tires, brakes, oil… so the opportunities to grow and develop expertise with Midas are endless.www.midas.comMIDAS locations are independently owned and operated by franchisees.
