It’s also a chance to grow professionally by mentoring apprentice technicians and gaining exposure to a variety of energy systems and technologies in a forward‑thinking company.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide technical services in electrical systems, metering, power systems and energy management services.Install, test, and commission retail and wholesale metering systems.Complete all types of maintenance work on retail and wholesale metering installations.Able to manage projects with minimal supervision to completion.Ensure safe work procedures are followed at all times.Maintain client communications, safety and work documentation.Follow operating procedures and practices to support Rodan in ensuring compliance and reporting requirements.Conduct on‑site audits and inspections of electrical meter installations to ensure strict adherence to all utility specifications, regulatory codes, and quality assurance standards.Document and report all inspection findings using field software, identifying and communicating non‑compliance issues or defects to management for timely resolution.Required Skills and QualificationsMust Have: Red Seal Certification (309A)Must Have: Be available to travel across Ontario as needed and stay overnight in hotels.Background in electrical power distribution, metering, protection and control or electrical systems.Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and effectively complete tasks.Demonstrated time management skills and strong attention to detail.Proven ability to develop and maintain relationships with internal and external clients.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work independently as well as a member of a team.A valid Class “G” Ontario Driver’s License, driver’s insurance and an excellent driving record.Knowledge of and experience with computer software such as Microsoft Office and meter‑specific software.First Aid and CPR certificates and knowledge of EUSA and OHSA are assets.Rodan Benefits IncludeIndustry‑leading salary and bonus.4‑day work week.Profit sharing.Comprehensive health benefits package.Group RRSP with employer matching.This is a flexible hybrid role.Apply NowIf you’re passionate about innovation and driving growth in a rapidly evolving industry, we want to hear from youReferral Bonus: Know someone who could be a great fit?
