We are looking for a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst to join our Business Intelligence team in one of our Vancouver, Calgary, or Toronto locations. What you’ll do Partners with stakeholders, self-serve report creators, data scientists and data engineers to create meaningful, intentional data solutions. Standardizes source of truth dashboards and applies best practices to convey the most important metrics for the business. Creates and edits data models for users to answer business questions and optimizes queries and reports for performance. Effectively communicates findings and feedback to technical and non-technical stakeholders. Works with the BI Manager to govern our BI environment and empower self-serve stakeholders leveraging data and dashboards. Identifies and resolves gaps in training, learning resources, and other roadblocks preventing stakeholders from leveraging data for decision making. Who you are Passionate about driving growth empirically. Always looking to innovate with data and explore open-ended questions. Strategically minded and comfortable with challenges. Self-motivated, able to work autonomously and collaboratively. Agile and responsive, comfortable with constant change. What you may have An undergraduate or graduate degree in a relevant quantitative discipline (computer science, statistics, mathematics, etc.). 6+ years of applied experience in business intelligence and/or data modeling. Proficiency in database modeling, SQL, and data warehousing principles. Proficiency with data visualization and data storytelling. Understanding of SaaS metrics such as MRR and churn. A passion for understanding data and identifying root causes of metric trends. Experience with cloud-based BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, and Looker. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Nice to have Experience with Redshift or other cloud data warehouses. Ability to translate technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders. Experience with dbt as a data transformation tool. What you will find here Compensation is a key part of Clio’s Total Rewards Program. The full salary range for this role is $100,300 to $118,000 to $135,700 CAD. Salary bands may differ by location and currency. Benefits may also vary by location.
