As a supplier of quality products and exceptional customer service, it’s our dedicated and hard-working people who have made our organization what it is today.Due to ongoing growth, we require a Mechanical Designer/Drafter.Position:Mechanical Designer for a Variety of ProjectsQualificationsMUST HAVE Drafting and detailing of truck chassis and various mechanical and sheet metal components.MUST KNOW about design, manufacturing principles, and machine shop practices.MUST HAVE a mechanical aptitude and good math skills.MUST HAVE Ability to use measuring tools and gauges.MUST HAVE Knowledge of general dimensioning and tolerancing practices.MUST HAVE attention to detail.Specific Job DutiesCreate CAD models (on-shape) and drawings from sketches, physical samples, or verbal instructions.RequirementsProficiency in Microsoft.Must be able to communicate effectively in English.Must have reliable transportation to and from work.Familiarity with On-shape.Go out onto the shop floor when needed.3 PLUS years of experience working in the field.
