Teams meet in person a few times per year to align on strategy and execution.We are hiring Rust Engineering Leads of all levels of experience to drive the adoption of Rust across Canonical offerings, starting with Ubuntu and extending to our projects and open source initiatives. We see Rust as a language for system-level services and capabilities and a natural evolution for software traditionally written in C/C++. We aim to rethink the foundations of future Linux systems with Rust as a central driver from firmware and embedded software up through the kernel, desktop, and related components.
