OverviewJoin to apply for the CW30066-Room Attendant role at GDI Integrated Facility ServicesSchedule: Part TimeResponsibilitiesCultivate a culture that promotes inclusion, innovation, productivity, and collaboration.Build strong relationships, listen intently, and utilize clear & transparent communication.Clean all assigned rooms in the prescribed manner while following department standard operating procedures.Set up cleaning cart with supplies, constantly maintaining carts and storages in a clean and orderly fashion to enhance efficiency and ease of cleaning rooms.Clean windows, doors, walls, closets and fixtures in rooms, often using 3 steps ladders or stools to clean hard to reach areas, to maintain a clean, presentable and attractive facility at all times.Wash shower walls and tub, clean toilet(s) and stall walls if applicable, clean mirrors, sinks and walls to have clean and sanitary rooms.Replace towels, soaps and all room amenities and restock literature that has been removed by previous guest or is soiled and torn to ensure adequate supply for arriving guests.Vacuum rooms, operate vacuums weighing up to 25 lbs, and move chairs to vacuum entire area of carpet including hard to reach areas.Secure and maintain custody of equipment, keys and supplies at all times to protect and preserve hotel property.Assist with any additional cleaning that may be assigned.Job RequirementsMust have basic knowledge of general cleaning principles, use of cleaning products and operation of standard cleaning equipment.Proficient with English and have good communication skills with co-workers and guests.Requires grasping, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, climbing.Ability to lift, push and pull 30 lbs.Report missing / found articles, damage or merchandise problems to the housekeeping supervisors.Must be able to pass a Criminal Record Check.GDI Services (Canada) LP is committed to accommodating applicants with disabilities up to the point of undue hardship during the recruitment, assessment and selection process.
