This is at the heart of everything we do, and we are seeking a Full-Time Kinesiologist who shares this same philosophy.The successful candidate will possess the ability to perform ergonomic assessment, POETs, work hardening and facilitating FCEs. This position will provide the opportunity to work collaboratively with a team of clinicians, as well as provide exposure to complex occupational rehab cases.If you’re someone who thrives in a dynamic out-patient clinic, is eager to learn more, and is passionate about helping our clients get back to life, you belong hereLocation & ScheduleLocation: 5202 - 12 Street, Lloydminster, ABSchedule: Monday to FridayStatus: Permanent Full-TimeMandatory requirementsMandatory requirements: Registration with the appropriate Provincial governing body for Kinesiologists is required and Clinical Exercise Physiologist (CEP)In this role you willPerform biomechanical, fitness, and functional assessments under the mentorship and direction of a physiotherapistDesign, implement and supervise graded exercise, work conditioning and/or work hardening programsPerform biweekly reassessment of client progress through functional testingRecord functional and subjective findings in client charts on a regular basisWork cooperatively with clients to set and achieve functional goalsConduct group orientation and education lectures and regular one-on-one education to clientsComplete functional components of reports for initial, progress and dischargeEnsure return to work plans with client and employer have been made and documented in the client chartQualificationsGraduate of university Kinesiology degree program2+ years of experience considered an assetRegistration with the appropriate Provincial governing body for Kinesiologists is requiredInclusionWe are committed to creating an inclusive environment where people from all backgrounds can thrive.
