Manager, Risk Modelling – FCC / FAC Join us as a key member of the risk modelling team to support organizational strategy and financial risk management. Job Details Term Duration: Permanent (fixed‑term) Worker Type: Permanent Closing Date: 11/27/2025 Salary Range: $119,935 – $162,265 (plus incentive) Languages: English Responsibilities Manage all aspects of model development, maintenance, and monitoring, and ad‑hoc analysis. Determine variable selection and methodologies for modelling. Oversee implementation of new or updated models, engaging with internal partners. Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levels. Liaise with industry experts and external consultants to understand best practices. Coach and mentor employees, manage performance, and set goals and priorities. Leverage data modelling and reporting tools (dbt, Power BI, QuickSight, Marimo) to support monitoring and analysis. Provide insights and ad‑hoc analysis to support business decision‑making. Qualifications & Experience Experienced leader who brings out the best in team members. Analytical thinker with a clear line of sight to business goals. Strong communicator comfortable building relationships across the corporation. Multi‑tasker who can ensure projects move forward under predetermined timelines. Proactive problem‑solver able to perform quick ad‑hoc analysis using available tools. Bachelor’s degree in business administration, computer science, or mathematics and at least seven years of experience (or equivalent). Professional designations (CFA, ASA, FSA) or a graduate degree are assets. In‑depth understanding of credit risk, adjudication, financial and regulatory risk modelling techniques. General knowledge of model management practices in financial organizations. Conceptual understanding of FCC’s technical architecture and business tools. Experience with data modelling and reporting tools (dbt, Power BI, QuickSight, Marimo) is an asset.
