Our inclusive culture values excellence, diversity, and collaborative learning. Position Overview We are recruiting a User Experience (UX) Writer in Edmonton, Alberta. The role is full‑time (37.5 hours per week) with flexible office or hybrid options. In this position you will create interactive product questionnaires, write & edit copy for legal documents, and partner with Legal, Design, Development, and QA to optimize digital experiences for our 24 million yearly visitors. Primary Responsibilities Develop interactive product questionnaires used to generate customized legal documents. Write and edit copy to make legal document creation simple and clear. Collaborate with Legal, Design, Development, and QA to create high‑converting web products. Analyze quantitative and qualitative data to identify usability problems and improvement opportunities. Implement best practices and explore new approaches for web products. Use internal tools to apply specifications with high quality. Conduct product research and user testing to inform questionnaire improvements. Design strategies to increase user engagement and retention. Continuously learn about user experience optimisation and digital marketing. Knowledge and Skill Requirements Post‑secondary education in Communications, Marketing, Law, Business, Library Science, or related field. Technical writing experience is an asset. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience with conversion‑rate optimisation and A/B testing. Ability to convey complex information succinctly. Understanding of conversion optimisation, consumer psychology, and online marketing. Strong feedback communication and receipt ability. Self‑driven; able to work independently and in a team. Proactive in identifying opportunities and proposing ideas. Sound decision making and judgement. Tech‑savvy; capable of troubleshooting assorted technologies. Knowledge of law/legal matters is an asset. UX best practice knowledge is an asset. Software development knowledge is an asset. Bilingual (French, German, or Spanish) is an asset.
