U+ Toastmasters' Youth Volunteer Connects Program is funded by Canada Service Corps, a national movement that empowers youth aged 12 - 30 to gain experience and build important skills while giving back to their communitySummaryU+ Toastmasters is looking for a Volunteer Marketing Coordinator / Specialist / Analyst to make a positive impact on the community while promoting our inspiring public speaking and leadership programsDescriptionAs a Volunteer, you will be responsible for:Developing and implementing marketing strategies and campaigns to promote programs, events, and organizational initiatives.Managing social media accounts, website content, and digital communications to increase engagement and visibility.Creating marketing materials including newsletters, brochures, posters, and presentations.Conducting market research and analyzing data to inform marketing decisions and measure campaign effectiveness.Coordinating events, outreach initiatives, and promotional activities to build community awareness and participation.Collaborating with staff, partners, and vendors to ensure consistent branding and messaging.Monitoring marketing performance metrics, preparing reports and recommendations for management.Supporting public relations and communications efforts, including media relations and community engagement.RequirementsWe welcome volunteers who are enthusiastic, dependable, and excited to support our mission Ideal candidates will have:Age between 12 - 30A positive attitude and willingness to learnCommitment to completing basic trainingFluency in EnglishSuccessful Vulnerable Sector Check (required if you’re over 18)Bonus SkillsPrevious experienceFluency or high proficiency in another language besides EnglishThis is a virtual opportunity.
