Business Architect / Enterprise Architect On behalf of our Government Sector client, Procom is searching for a Business Architect / Enterprise Architect for a 4-month role. This position is a hybrid position with occasional office attendance at our client’s Guelph, Ontario office. Business Architect / Enterprise Architect - Job Description Seeking an Enterprise Architect / Business Architect to lead the update of the Enterprise Architecture (EA) for their AgriSuite Portfolio. The successful candidate will develop key EA documents required for all Enterprise Architecture Governance Points (AGPs). Business Architect / Enterprise Architect - Responsibilities Develop, recommend, implement, and manage IT Enterprise Architecture (EA) strategy and architecture deliverables for the organization. Analyze government information relevant to business architecture, consult with government contacts, and conduct focus group workshops. Develop and maintain business capabilities aligned with corporate strategy and contribute to business strategy and planning. Develop or revise business architecture artifacts as part of the Enterprise Information Architecture (EIA) Federated Framework. Design capability models and related architectural solutions for business tasks. Manage business solutions supporting operational and delivery functions. Develop and maintain architectural governance and controls over implementation. Contribute to enterprise blueprint development to promote a shared understanding of the organization. Business Architect / Enterprise Architect - Mandatory Skills Minimum 10 years of IT experience, including at least 5 years in Business Architecture on large, complex projects. Excellent communication, concept visualization, facilitation, stakeholder management, negotiation, consensus building, and problem-solving skills. Experience collaborating with executives and senior management. Proven track record in completing Business and Information Architectures for governments or large organizations. Experience applying Business Architecture practices to transform government or large organization program delivery. Knowledge of or experience with Government of Ontario Information Technology Standards (GO-ITS) for Architecture. Development of Program Area(s) Business Architecture and corresponding BAD according to OPS standards and industry best practices. Business Architect / Enterprise Architect – Nice-to-Have Skills Knowledge of the Zachman Framework. Experience in Information Architecture and Application Architecture. Familiarity with OPS Enterprise Architecture governance processes and AGPs. Understanding of Privacy and Records Keeping principles. Familiarity with AODA regulations as they pertain to Business Architecture. Business Architect / Enterprise Architect – Assignment Length This is a 4-month contract position.
