Overview The City of North Bay is seeking a creative and innovative team player to focus on community development, new investment attractions and the expansion and diversification of the existing business base. The successful candidate will leverage their strong business networks to attract investments and facilitate strategic partnerships with industry to support economic growth. As a proven collaborator who enjoys working in a fast‑paced environment, the individual will have a strong project management background and will lead internal initiatives while providing end‑to‑end client service to businesses and stakeholders. Lead internal initiatives while providing end‑to‑end client service to businesses and stakeholders. Manage projects in a fast‑paced environment, meet deadlines, and balance competing priorities. Qualifications Relevant post‑secondary education and a minimum of five (5) years of experience, or an acceptable combination of formal education and related experience. Experience in economic development; professional designation in Economic Development is desirable. Bilingualism is considered an asset. Strong project management background and the ability to work independently in demanding situations. Proficiency with office and online systems, and exceptional customer service, communication and interpersonal skills. Legally entitled to work in Canada. Salary Range and Benefits 2025 annual salary range: $76,285 to $95,346 CAD.
